What is Pink BoomBox?

The House of Pink BoomBox was formed by Lilly Holiday in 2009 to fill the performance art void that existing in San Diego’s underground. Using elements of burlesque, fetish, circus, theater, dance party, art show and good old fashion rock shows, in their events the House of Pink BoomBox has been able to create a unique event experience.

        We set ourselves apart by steering clear of what people think of traditional burlesque.  You will not find big band era music, or the dance routines usually found at a burlesque event.  We prefer to call ourselves performance artists as we experiment with all manners of dance, music, and push barriers.  We take a lot of inspiration from the more risqué fetish community as well as high end fashion and are not afraid to incorporate new and interesting props and devices to set us apart, such as grinders, fire, hula hoops, airel, ray gun toys, bungee cord spider webs, and live animals.
